On one level, I’m an editor by day, an Irish singer and Irish dance teacher by night, and the mother of a teenaged son all the time. Which means I’m pretty much used to being terminally unhip, uncool, or whatever it is moms are un- in current teenage vocabulary…
But on the level where I spend most of my time, I take dictation for a whole world full of elemental Fae and the men who love them (the SoulShares and the Broken Pattern), and the spirits of ancient oak trees reawakening in the modern world, one rediscovery of life and (extremely hot m/m) love at a time. (the Tales of the Grove) They, and I, would love to hear from you!
I’ve just finished reading Hard as Stone and I have to say, I can’t wait for the next one. It was an incredible story and I don’t giove praise lightly 🙂 as an author myself. PLEASE tell me we’ll have the next book soon, Rory. I can’t cope otherwise.
Gale Force is with my editor right now — we’re looking at a release around the beginning of March. And I’m hard at work on Deep Waters!
That is marvellous news, something to look forward to. Sorry about the spelling mistake in my previous post, I really should be more awake. I’ve done enough blasted editing to realise you should always double check before pressing the submit button 🙂
Not to worry. I’m still nursing my second cup of coffee, and until I get the third one into me, I treat all spelling, grammar, and punctuation as highly fluid and more or less optional.
I just finished Gale Force and have the other two SoulShares books waiting in the queue – I just wanted to say that I think you are an amazing storyteller, your world building unique and fascinating and that I love your guys immensely. Thank you.
Thank you SO much! — you’ve made my day, and my week! (And don’t forget HARD AS STONE, that’s where it all started…. *winks*)
Oh, but I already read it 🙂 I started from the beginning – I hate to land in the middle of a story and don’t know how everything had started . After I wrote you last night I started Deep Plunge … the scene from the beginning, with the Loremasters at the Pattern …heart-wrenching and so beautiful …
Hi, its me again. Do you have an idea of when we’ll come out your fifth book in Fae series, Blowing Smoke ? Thank you, Lacri
BLOWING SMOKE is with my editor at Ellora’s Cave right now — I’m hoping to have it out by the Midwestern Book Lovers Unite convention at the end of September!
